No weekly competition will be held if less than four players participate. Payout is based to how many players participate and uses the following schedule or as determined by the Tournament Chairperson.
Any member scoring a birdie and/or a chip-in during any regular weekly competition day or tournament day receive a monetary award. Birdies and chip-ins should be circled in red by the player and other players on the scorecard.
The Tournament Chairperson determines the player with the lowest number of putts during any regular weekly competition day or a tournament day. This member will receive a monetary award. In the case of a tie, no award is given. Once a player takes a stoke on the green, that and all subsequent strokes will be counted as putts.
Any member determined to have hit closest to the pin on Tournament Chairperson designated holes will receive a monetary award.
The club collects five cents for each ball hit into a water hazard. In addition, the club collects five cents for each stroke from a bunker (up to a maximum of 25 cents per bunker). These monies are collected by the Tournament Chairperson and placed in the “piggy”, after each playday.
The Eclectic competition runs from February 1st through December 1st, during our weekly competition and tournament playdays. Joining is optional for club members. A player may join anytime but scores are only counted from the date the player joined moving forward. The best score is selected for each hole played at Dublin Ranch, creating a single 18-hole score. The December 1st course handicap is subtracted from this 18-hole (net score). The Tournament Chairperson determines the Eclectic winners using this net score.
For 2026, a point system will be used to determine the Club Champion. Points will be earned throughout the golf year. The member with the most points at the end of the year will be the club champion.
One week in November, the Tournament Chairperson holds a special weekly competition. The monetary award is divided as determined by the Tournament Chairperson.
